Great Lakes, Great Dogs, Great Times!

How many of us are excited to see warm temps and summer back again? I know we are, because in Michigan that means trips to the Great Lakes! We love to travel all around our coast, enjoying the lakes and all the lake towns have to offer.

Naturally, when you go to enjoy the lake and/or beach, you would like to be able to have your fur-family with you. So, what can you do to make sure you can include them in your sandy travels?

Do a little groundwork and find the dog-friendly beaches and areas for your dog to be included. Michigan has many dog-friendly beaches and campgrounds. The list is growing daily! Traverse City has become renowned for having many dog-friendly beaches and amenities. Other popular beaches include Norman F. Cruse Park in Muskegon. North Point Beach is in Onekema, and Lake Michigan Shoreline Beach is in Mackinaw City. But you can also find them in Grand Haven, Ludington, Rogers City, Port Huron, and Tawas. They might be in the place you are visiting too!

While you’re out and about with your fur-family, don’t forget to visit some of our retail partners. They are in some of the most beautiful places in Michigan!
